Completed in 2015, this lighting installation for the new Studio35 venue in Brentwood was designed to complement its architectural finishes, gym environment and woodland wall graphics.
Problem
Studio35 was a new venue in 2015 and needed a lighting scheme that did more than provide basic illumination. The layout had to support the way the gym would be used while bringing depth and definition to the timber wall treatments and forest graphics.
Solution
Volt East developed a tailored lighting design using recessed spotlights and carefully positioned accent lighting. The placement and direction of the fittings were planned to wash light across the walls, pick up the texture of the finishes and make the woodland imagery feel more dimensional.
Outcome
The completed scheme gives Studio35 a clean, seamless atmosphere with practical lighting for the venue and a more distinctive visual identity. Light and shadow add depth to the wall graphics and architectural surfaces, helping the interior feel considered, immersive and welcoming.
